Four companies shortlisted for Edmonton arena

Four construction companies are still being considered to build a new proposed downtown arena in Edmonton, Alberta.
Stuart Olson Dominion, EllisDon, PCL and Ledcor Builders have all bid on the project.
Ledcor is partnering with Clark Builders. EllisDon has teamed up with Hunt Construction. Stuart Olson Dominion has joined with Clark Construction (a different firm than Clark Builders.) PCL is the only firm to bid on its own.
The City of Edmonton previously announced that ICON Venue Group will be the project manager for the arena. The successful bid is expected to be announced by late February or early March.
